Visall opened the doors of its production facility in Schnelldorf to the graduating classes of the Leonberg vocational school center. Accompanied by their teachers, the aspiring opticians gained fascinating insights into the manufacturing of modern eyeglass lenses “Made in Germany.” During an in-depth factory tour, they were able to follow the entire production process—from the precise machining of the blanks to the final finishing of the eyeglass lenses. The Visall team explained technical details, answered questions, and provided a realistic glimpse into what happens behind the scenes in lens production every day. The participants were impressed by the highly automated manufacturing, the commitment to quality assurance, and the innovative technologies used in the production process. The personal interaction with young talent, their enthusiasm for the craft, and their interest in modern optometry reaffirm our approach and our commitment to the future of the industry.
